We’re excited to announce that on November 2nd, we’ll transition over to southwest.bank from our southwbank.com domain to provide you an even more secure banking experience.
From that day on, all visits to southwbank.com will be automatically redirected to southwest.bank, and all emails will be forwarded from our @southwbank.com addresses to our new @southwest.bank addresses. While website redirection and email forwarding will remain in place for the foreseeable future, you should take a moment after our launch on November 2nd to update your bookmark(s) to our site and any email addresses in your address book.
Our new southwest.bank domain will help prevent phishing attacks against our employees, customers and vendors by providing a visual identification cue for our emails and websites. Going forward, you should authenticate our emails and website(s) simply by looking for the domain ending in “.bank” (rather than .com) at the end of our email addresses and at the end of our website address. If it’s not southwest.bank it’s not us.
The security of your assets and information continues to be our top priority. We love being your local bank, knowing the needs of the community and our customers, while ensuring you have the security you’d expect from a much larger institution. You can learn more about the security our new web address provides here.
Thank you for being a SouthWest Bank customer and don’t hesitate to contact the Customer Resource Center with any questions at 432-552-5000 or at email@example.com.
